Mike Froggatt Probably my favorite of callasoiled's albums since the outstanding 「亜」. Driving, eerie, melancholy, transcendent: the mix of styles is as broad as the virtuosity is deep. 「夢と孤独と白い色」goes off like "Orbital"'s angry cousin, but if I have to choose one favorite it'll be 「感じますか」, narrowly edging out "The warmth of glass". Those sounds take me back to such classics as Cocteau Twins / Harold Budd - The Moon and the Melodies, or Pieter Nooten / Michael Brook - Sleeps with the Fishes. Favorite track: 感じますか.

ᶻᵒʰʳʸᵘ Stunning and emotional, it ends just as soon as it has begun.

Even when broken and shattered, glass remains beautiful. Favorite track: The warmth of glass.

そんな風に人間を作った、見えざるものが憎い。
そんな憎悪と共に、性懲りもなく過去に思いを馳せて、馬鹿のように酔っている。
それで良い時もある。
それは今でもいいはずだ。
記憶は自分と共にしかないのだから、美しいのも仕方がない。

未来より現在より過去である、私はそれに恋い焦がれている。存在しない者への愛情、倒錯、感傷、恋慕。そして、その鮮やかな激情が美しさに転化し、トランス・ミュージックもエレクトロニカも歌も他のダンスミュージックも飲み込んで、ヴィヴィッドな伽藍として成立すること。

青年の倒錯は、ひとつの結晶と化した。美しい、だが決定的に倒錯していて、崩れている。
でもここにしかない、固有の感情がある。これは人間の実存である。
